It was recently reported that Marvel Rivals has been a big success for NetEase Games, as the popular hero shooter has managed to reach over 40 million players less than three months after its debut. The PC community has played a large role in the title’s success, as it dominated Steam’s top-sellers and concurrent players charts both at launch and during the release of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. Unfortunately, some fans have also complained about optimization issues on the popular platform.

It seems as if other players have also been struggling with the issue and attempted to shed some light on what could be the cause. One person suggested that the problem might have something to do with the game’s launcher, as it is inconsistent about shutting down after the game launches or closes. Some players said they could only close the launcher by opening their computer’s task manager and forcing the program to close. A few gamers said they’ve only encountered the issue since the release of Marvel Rivals major 1.5 update, while others complained that they’ve faced similar problems since launch.
Marvel Rivals May Have a Memory Leak on PC
